There will be a partial eclipse of the Sun on the morning of October 25, when the Moon will partly cover the Sun.
Hertford Astronomy Group is planning to hold a Public Eclipse Watch, with a variety of equipment to enable visitors to observe the event safely.
Maximum eclipse will be around 11 am.
Obviously, this is subject to the weather on the day.
REMEMBER: NEVER look at the Sun without proper eye protection.

Members of the society will explain the event and show visitors how to use the equipment we shall provide in order for them to safely watch the eclipse.
