We are looking to run a number of events for Science Week and would like to invite an external speaker in to talk with students. This could be about STEM careers or something specific about their work. We are looking for something inspiring and stimulating to really motivate our students and spark their interest in Science. Can you help?
As science co-ordinator in a Primary School, I am hoping to organise an exciting and informative Science Week within our school. We have never taken part in Science Week before therefore I think it will be really exciting and fun for the children. I would be grateful to anyone who can offer any advice on guest speakers or workshops which we could have in or anyone who would be willing to volunteer themselves. The theme has not been released for Science Week yet but I am flexible with topic.

My main objective is to broaden their knowledge of the career prospects involved with science and inspire them to be scientists. I am looking for speakers to come into school for free or a small charge to explain to the children about their respective area of science.
