Science Week at Primary school in Victoria London

Primary school in Victoria seeking engaging, enthusiastic speakers/practical workshops/presenters for (mainly )British Science Week but also other times in the year- assemblies, talks, workshops welcome. If you have experience in STEM, we would love to hear from you!

Earth Science Talks and Podcasts

At the Jurassic Coast Trust, we aim to engage as many people as possible with the magnificent Earth Science stories from the Dorset & East Devon World Heritage Site, England's only natural World Heritage Site. We are currently seeking speakers for a series of online talks to our members (and beyond) on Earth Science related topics. This could be an area of research relating to palaeontology or Geology, even better if relating to the Jurassic Coast too.

Science week speaker

Looking for a presenter to showcase at our Science Week at St Peters Primary, Billiercay. Our theme is Time, following the guidance from Science Week. We are looking for an engaging speaker who can deliver a presentation to students from years reception up to Year 6 on Time. It will form part of our science week activities. It would be great if you could engage the pupils in activities during the presentation/be interactive with pupils.

Delayed science week

For our 'delayed science week', we would like an introductory assembly to set off the week , where the children can hear an inspirational talk or take part in a workshop linked to their career and science. We would also love the opportunity to have some interactive workshops for some, if not all, year groups. This initial day would help to set the standard and excitement for the rest of the week and would really help in fully engaging the children with the wonders of science.

Science Week 2024

West Drayton Academy will be celebrating British Science Week in May 2024. We are looking for someone to provide a hands-on workshop or assembly for children in the school, either across a day or throughout the week, to supplement the learning they will be doing using the Plymouth Science teaching materials for British Science Week. Ideally the workshop will have links to the theme of 'Time', however, we are keen for the work to be practical and hands-on, to get children excited about Science.
