HI everybody, I am Science Lead in a small, one form entry primary school, seeking a vibrant specialist/ enthusiast in alternative green energy sources! As part of British Science Week, KS2 are exploring the forms of green energy sources and how they can be used to support us. You will deliver a 30 min class discussion on the benefits of the wonderfully resourceful green energy sources 2023 has to offer! This talk will be delivered to approx 75 KS2 children. Many thanks :)
At Didsbury SciBar, we are looking for individuals or groups in a specialist STEM field who would like to share their experience and promote a subject to a wider audience. If you are a scientist, researcher, academic or passionate volunteer who would like to speak at one of our our established monthly events, either in-person at our Manchester venue or online please get in touch – we’d love to hear from you and hopefully schedule you into our calendar - https://didsburyscibar.co.uk/speak/
Come to Cornwall! I am looking into creating a week of STEM library talks for KS3 and 4, 11-16yr olds- thinking virtual talks by scientists, research activities using BOOKS!, and finding a way to engage them in BOOKS and STEM. Our STEM staff organised a week of daily STEM challenges which they ran each day and was a great hit- I imagine adding to this with virtual or physical visits from specialists, promoting books and/or careers. Any advice or offers greatly appreciated!
Any offers to help support us with ideas for Science week on the theme of time. Something that would excite nursery to year 6. As the theme is Time, any ideas about creating timers, sand timers, marble runs would be most useful! Thanks in advance
Looking for: Speaker (free) and Speaker (paid)
