I'm a recently retired geologist, having worked in oil & gas exploration and production, geological mapping and mineral exploration. I'm a STEM Science Ambassador with long experience of giving talks at primary and secondary schools, University level and publically.

Talks at all levels on: - introduction to rocks and the importance of geology, mineral and energy resources in the modern world; - the ever-changing roles of geologists; - the science of geology, eg. geological concepts, how the Earth has evolved, etc; - oil and gas exploration and production.

I'm a retired professional geologist offering talks on many geological and earthscience topics. Since retiring I've been an active 'STEM Ambassador', giving talks to over 2500 children at various primary and secondary schools, usually bringing a good selection of rocks and fossils. I also give public/community talks. Although I'm based in Surrey/Kent, I often visit other areas in England so may be able to offer talks elsewhere.
