Dr Ken Farquhar is a champion juggler and soap bubble scientist. He perfected his presentation skills by working as a street & stage performer, schoolteacher and in television production. He presents science themed shows and workshops live and on-line at schools, family events, science, and arts festivals all over the world. His shows cater for all ages and abilities, and he is an honorary lecturer in science communication at the University of East Anglia.
Dr Ken has travelled to over 20 countries in the last 20 years performing to a total audience of over 1/2 million. Commissions and collaborations with partner organisations include John Innes, URENCO, Shell, & Crick Institute. Individual Training programmes were created for Teachers, Universities, institutes, science centres and festivals including British Council, Singapore Science Centre, Royal Academy Engineering, BSA and RSC. Live & pre-recorded activities were developed during the pandemic.
