My historical tours are inspired by science but aimed at a general audience of people who like something a bit different and a bit unusual. This tour touches on diverse subjects including camouflage, computing, medicine and navigation. The characters involved include some from the Georgian and Victorian periods and from two world wars. Scientific history is usually male dominated but on this walk I am happy to be able to feature a number of ladies notable for their scientific achievements.
