At Dr Jenner's House, Museum and Garden, we want Jenner's story to be an inspiration and on 27 August we'll be holding our first ever Discovery Day aimed at young people and families. We already have some talks and interactive demonstrations lined up, but we'd love it if you could join us to make the event even better. Jenner had so many interests, not just vaccination but also zoology, geology, climate science...! We want to showcase the work that Jenner would be doing if he were alive today.

What kind of work would Edward Jenner be carrying out if he was alive today?
We’ve invited some of our favourite researchers and science organisations to show off all that’s exciting about the world of science. In a series of interactive activities, demonstrations and talks for all the family, our first ever Discovery Day will bring up to date all of Jenner’s diverse interests, from the latest work in the field of diseases and vaccination, to weather balloons and climate science.
