PlaySTEM FREE workshop for UCL STEM students and local youth and community groups || 13th March 9:30-3:00pm

You are invited to a FREE workshop on Tuesday 13th March for UCL science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) students to get out of the lab and into the local community with youth workers at Three Corners Adventure Playground, near Farringdon Station. We hope to have about 30 people in total and will have full reign of this incredible space (see pic below) from 9:30-3pm before decanting to the Three Kings Pub around the corner.

Speakers

Heather Fitzke is a BBSRC LIDo PhD student, former anthropologist and playworker. When she’s not scanning guts and collecting poo stories she’s thinking up ways to get young people into science and how to get science out into the community.

Steve Cross works as a public engagement consultant, strategist and trainer. He is a geek comedian, presenter and producer, travelling across the UK helping all sorts of intellectual types share their passions.
