Exploring the Greenland Ice Sheet - Science, Sound and Film

Have you ever wondered why the Greenland Ice Sheet is so important? How scientists collect data to help us to understand the changes currently facing the ice sheet? Or perhaps how we can 'hear' climate change? Then come along to our British Science Week event! Dr Danni Pearce will take you through the last 1000 years of the Greenland Ice Sheet and there will also be a showing of a short documentary-film showing footage from the last two scientific expeditions.
