We're looking for a science communicator to be part of our show on June 15th.
The Free Radicals improv players have created a show that fuses improvised comedy with science communication.
Each show features a 10-15 minute talk by a science communicator. The players then improvise a story and sketches from the themes.
Footage from our past shows can be seen at https://www.freeradicalsimprov.co.uk/archive

Sophie Paul is a hydrogeologist who chairs the Reading Hydro Project. This community benefit society is planning to produce hydroelectric power by the weir at Caversham Lock, using new tech based on old science. Income from the project will help to fund other sustainability projects in the area.
Sophie will be introducing you to the scientific and technical aspects of Reading Hydro, which you can get involved in too.
